Ford F53 Replacement Brake Rotors Information
The Ford F53 is a motor home chassis that needs to be able to handle anything. Superior braking is essential to this vehicle since it bears such a heavy load. Some of the most important parts of the braking system are the rotors. Rotors are round, flat pieces of steel that are attached to the wheel. The rotor is the piece that is between the brake pads. Rotors are thick pieces because they need to give off the heat that is generated by the friction that braking builds up.
