Jeep Cherokee Replacement Brake Caliper Information
The Cherokee brake caliper is an essential addition to your jeep's braking system. It is one of the brake parts that includes a couple of plates that are frictionally bonded, which are the Cherokee's brake pads. To bring your jeep to a halt the break calipers squeeze the brake pads with the brake rotor. The friction generated ensures a build up of heat and gas within the drum of the wheel, and that can wear down the breaks.
If you suspect that break fade has brought a decline for your Jeep Cherokee breaks replace the break calipers. Replacement Cherokee break calipers can be fitted to a variety of submodels, typically of the 1990s or 2000s. They are remanufactured break calipers that either match or eclipse OE specifications.
