Kia Sorento Replacement Blower Motor Resistor Information
A good vehicle interior air conditioning system is not hard to find when it uses a good quality Sorento Kia blower motor resistor in the process. The Sorento Kia blower motor resistor is responsible for regulating speeds for the blower motor that powers the AC system fan as it dissipates and expels hot sir from inside the vehicle so it can be replaced by cool air.
Located near the Ac evaporator core, the Sorento Kia blower motor resistor uses coils to regulate motor blower operations. Coils set motor speeds ranging from four volts to 12 volts, the higher the voltage, the greater the speed. This lets the blower fan customize settings for optimal fan operation. Owners of this crossover, mid-size sport utility vehicle introduced in 2002 keep everybody cool inside the ride with the blower motor resistor working in harmony in the AC system or being replaced should it fail.
