Infiniti QX4 Replacement Air Mass Sensor Information
Nobody questions how important a tiny part like the QX4 Infiniti air mass sensor can be for top engine performance. The QX4 Infiniti air mass sensor, also referred to as the oxygen sensor, determines how much air is entering the engine system. This is important for the on-board computer calculating the best fuel to air ratio. Too much air or too much fuel and the engine can stall, or worse. Basically a small heated wire, the sensor is made as sturdy as one would expect in this mid-size luxury sport utility vehicle manufactured from 1996 to 2003. However, stuff happens on the road and even the act of driving many miles can take a bite out of all parts, especially sensitive ones like this. Should the engine appear to stutter or stall needlessly, the air mass sensor should be checked and replaced if needed with a quality, vehicle compatible part.
They are available for the following Infiniti QX4 years: 2003, 2002, 2001, 2000, 1999, 1998, 1997, 03, 02, 01, 00, 99, 98, 97. This part is also sometimes called Infiniti QX4 Air Flow Meters.
