Nissan Maxima Replacement AC Receiver Drier Information
The Maxima AC receiver drier is located between the condenser and the expansion valve inlet. Ultimately, this part is responsible for receiving and storing some of the liquid refrigerant that comes from the condenser. It will enter at the top of the receiver and fall to the bottom. There is that a pickup tube that extends it all away to the bottom of the receiver drier. Without this part, your condenser will find it difficult to get rid of excess refrigerant and your AC system may suffer as a result.
