GMC Yukon Replacement AC Evaporator Information
As important as the power and drive of a full-size sport utility vehicle can be, passenger comfort is important also and greatly enhanced through the Yukon GMC AC evaporator. Sometimes called the evaporator core, the Yukon GMC AC evaporator is deeply buried within the passenger cabin instrument panel. Hidden, but not forgotten, it is an essential component keeping the interior cooling system operating at full strength. Actually, this large SUV has more than one unit made out of aluminum utilizing internal tubes with fins, otherwise known as flow paths, allowing air to pass easily through the unit. These tubes convey liquid refrigerant necessary to turn warm air cool. A fan makes the unit blow hot air outside the cooling system while remaining cool air is blown into the passenger cab. The AC evaporator in the GMC Yukon must work perfectly or be replaced immediately for best cooling system operation.
