The AC compressor on your Chrysler Town & Country is responsible for climate control in the cabin. As the name implies, this component compresses the fluid responsible for cooling down your car on sweltering summer days. Heat naturally moves from high pressure to low pressure and high temperature to low temperature. What the AC compressor does is create a low temperature environment to attract the heat that builds in the cabin of your Town & Country to move under the hood through the vents.
