The 1999-2003 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 Fuel Pump moves liquid fuel from the gas tank to the engine, where it mixes with air for combustion within the cylinders. With injection systems having virtually replaced outdated fuel delivery systems, the latest fuel pumps are electronic. Since liquid gasoline cannot explode, the gas tank is the safest place for the fuel pump to be placed. For replacement, the Delphi fuel pump assembly meets or exceeds OEM quality and matches the vehicle's intake system in terms of fit and function; Sustains high flow in hot fuel situations; Maintains enhanced stability and reduced noise caused by excessive vibration. TCF is stamped on the assembly, which includes an Evan Emissions Sensor.
