The LUK Clutch Kit can be used on Mitsubishi Eclipses of model years 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010. Usually a vehicle clutch is a tough component, after heavy use the friction-bearing elements can wear out and need a new part. In vehicles using an automatic transmission, the Clutch Kit is integrated directly into your transmission system, however manual transmissions need the driver to operate a clutch by themselves, typically by using the pedal close to your brake pedal. The Clutch Kit is an important component within the vehicle's transmission allowing the current gear to be disengaged from your car's driveshaft to enable a different larger or smaller gear to be applied. Clutch Kites enable a driver to select different gears by temporarily unhooking the car or truck's transmission from its engine. Mitsubishi Eclipses from the years 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 will work with this Clutch Kit. Different cars and trucks are unlikely to be compatible, so this Clutch Kit is not intended to be used on those models.
