2001 to 2005 BMW 330i vehicles may have this Behr brand thermostat assembly installed. This thermostat assembly comes with the housing and gasket. A thermostat on the vehicle measures the engine temperature and controls when the coolant should pass into the radiator for cooling. A thermostat problem may not be noticed until the engine's temperature begins to rise without stopping or if the gauge on the dash does not register the engine temperature at all. Changing a faulty thermostat for a new one may help to improve the performance of the engine's cooling system.
