Your vehicle's Expansion Tank will let the gas in the radiator to swell because of the higher temperature and pressure. As usual, I looked everywhere else first knowing that if I turned up empty Partsgeek would have me covered. And, as usual my part is cheaper on Partsgeek than anywhere else. Love this site and the confidence it brings me knowing a product will be an exact fit for my VW.
Very happy with the way the site is setup. Easy to find the parts that I needed and at a reasonable price.
This was what I was looking for and was at the right price great place for parts
very satisfied with service, fast, accurate, reliable part shipping.
The PartsGeek site is easy to work to find what you need and the prices are great.I would like if they could get a 360 view of the items in the future.
My Aux Water pump failed on my 2003 1.8t Jetta and backed up my expansion tank. I ordered a new tank because the old one was filthy from the bad flow and old coolant. There are multiple versions of the tank, but using my cars details, I was able to find the proper one which fit perfectly. The only issue with the part is that the sensor outlet was slightly too long, but it's just plastic and if you're careful not to cut the clips, it can be adjusted by shaving about an 1/8 of an inch from the outlet. Best price I found.
