2009 Hyundai Sonata Mirror
This was a perfect replacement. Total of 10 minutes to change and you can't tell it from the one it replaced except it isn't broken :D
I was skeptical about the product because of the price but i am so glad i proceeded in purchasing this product!!! I watched a youtube clip on how to fix it and it took me less than 10 mins to install this mirror and im thinking of doing the passenger side because this one works better than the originals. I will come to PartsGeek first for any other parts i need after this experience. I am a real person who had a real problem...This site really help with ease of mind and financially light on my pockets lol!!!
I searched around quite a bit before deciding to order this mirror, and had I known what a nice product and a great value this one was before I started I could have saved myself a lot of time. I found mirrors out there for up to $200.00 and even those were not available in original paint colors. I installed this mirror in about 10 minutes, literally. 3 nuts and one plug and I was in business. It really looks good in black too....just might order another for the other side so they match. Thanks!!
Great service and better yet, the price!!! Dealer wanted $250 to buy and install one of these. Really saved $$$$$
We recently moved into an apartment with /very/ narrow garage doors. Everyone I've talked to has knocked off a mirror at one point from trying to just drive into their garage, here.
A dealer would've charged me hundreds of dollars just to order a new part, but partsgeek was SO REASONABLY PRICED!
It took longer than quoted on the website for the part to arrive (about 4-5 days longer than shipping actually says). But, the part was in mint condition, and ready to install!
Once we had the remnants of the old mirror off, it took less than five minutes to put the new part on, ourselves. All you need is a 10mm standard socket and ratchet for the bolts, and maybe a small pry bar if your car has a covering for the wire on the inside, and you're good to go!
I knocked off my mirror at a drive-through window. My car dealer gave me a $248 estimate to replace it. PartsGeek was selling it for $35 including shipping. I found a video on YouTube showing how to install it, so I ordered the part. It arrived in 3 days and It took me 15 minutes to install it. I opted to leave it black. I saved $213. Thanks PartsGeek.
