Notes: w/ Original Design (This Part Number replaces the Original Design Tensioner. The Original Design mounts with a steel bracket. An Allen wrench is used to unwind the spring load. NOTE: Many engines have been converted to a Later Design Mechanical Tensioner System. These Tensioners are mounted with an aluminum bracket. They do not use an Allen wrench to unwind the spring load. This conversion required modification to the Inner Timing Cover - Or, change over of the Inner and Outer Timing Covers to later model components. OE No Longer supplies Original Design Tensioner components as it is recommended to update to the Later Design. A Timing Tensioner Update Kit - which contains all the necessary components, including the Tensioner, is available - Part Number 5114068AA.)
