Power Sliding Door Motor Reviews - 2001 Chrysler Town & Country
Dorman | 747-300

Great service, however, the motors sold as left and right are identical in configuration. This is also the case if you try to buy them at a dealer as originally there were unique left and right motors, but now it is the same motor. Later versions of the town and country must account for this in how they power the left foot motor as the motors I received work perfectly on the right side, but operate the wrong way on the left side, such that the door tries to open when it's supposed to be closing. I even put the old motor back on to confirm that it did operate the opposite way to the new motor. I couldn't see any option to configure the motor to operate the way I needed it to and there was nothing on the web about folks changing the left side motor on the 2001 model - only the right side. In the end I've had to leave the old motor on and will see if I can pick one up off a breaker.
