Notes: Production: 04/1999-, Sealing Strip Upper Pan to Engine Block A normal oil pan gasket is not used for the two-piece oil pan found on this application. Instead, rubber sealing strips are used along the crankshaft saddles at the front and rear of the engine block. Use the appropriate liquid gasket sealant on the sealing surfaces between the sides of the engine block and the upper oil pan and between the upper and lower oil pans.
