Notes: Remanufactured Bosch advises that their SR 1318 X starter IS the correct replacement for this application even though it may look completely different from the one on the car. Please compare mounting bolt configuration, mounting flange dimensions, and electrical connections with the old starter for suitability before installation. Most techs that have done this have found no difficulties in using SR 1318 X in place of the original starter.

Detailed Notes: Please be aware that Bosch had two different manufacturers for this part number: Mitsuba & Mitsubishi. They look very simiular but not EXACT. You may want to explain this to your customer that the part may not look the same to that being remove from the vehicale, but that the unit should work fine. Will not replace Mitsuba!
