Detailed Notes: Service Bulletin 120393(3824),Nov.95 "The steering lock is intermittently jammed or binding in the start position. The starter incorporates one-way clutch that allows the engine to spin faster than the starter, so it may be dificult to detect that the starter is remaining engaged. However,prolonged engagement of the starter will overheat the windings and may eventually cause the starter to fail." If this is the case the flywheel and starter pinion should be replaced.
