Notes: 85 Amp W/ Internal fan - When replacing *Lucas unit with Marelli discard old fan and use existing pulley ( *This unit will replace OE Lucas 80 Amp Alternator )

Detailed Notes: This unit, in it's original design, is an 80amp lucas. With the automatic suspension that many of these vehicles have is "underpowered" for the application. That is why later models went with the higher amperage more expensive Marelli unit. We cannot change the design of the original unit to be a higher output. So we are forced to offer both the original 80 amp and the later higher version. There are core price differences here to consider as well as the unit price.
