Notes: This distributor should only be used on vehicles that have had the original engine replaced with a a JDM B-series DOHC engine (sometimes called a "low-mileage Japanese" or "crate" engine), and that replacement engine came originally with a TEC TD-22U, TD27U, or TD28U distributor. Vehicles that still have the SOHC engine in place should use distributor #TD02. Because the B-series DOHC engine was not offered in the US for these applications, the TD22 distributor is designed for off-road or track use only.
