Because electronic precision injectors have largely supplanted obsolete fuel delivery mechanisms, current Fuel Pumps need to pump fuel under pressure; they are thus electronic. Your car's Fuel Pump pumps air the fuel assembly to move gasoline from the fuel reservoir to the motor. Your Fuel Pump is a vacuum device that works to draw gasoline out of the tank into the motor. Lincoln Navigators from model years 2003 and 2004 are compatible with this replacement part. Other vehicles are unlikely to be compatible, and this replacement part is not designed to be used on those vehicles.
