This Airtex Fuel Pump can be installed on Chevrolet Malibus from the years 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003. Most Fuel Pumps are installed in your fuel reservoir; because liquid gasoline isn't flammable, this is the optimal location for installation. Your Fuel Pump is an apparatus that works to move fuel out of the reservoir to the engine. Your Fuel Pump delivers liquid fuel from the fuel tank to the vehicle's fuel injectors, where it's mixed with air for burning within the cylinders. A Fuel Pump pumps air the gas system to move gasoline out of the fuel reservoir into the motor. Since electronic precision injectors have largely replaced old-fashioned fuel delivery systems, the latest Fuel Pumps need to deliver fuel under pressure; they are therefore electronic. Chevrolet Malibus from the years 2000, 2001, 2002 and 2003 will work with this Fuel Pump. Different cars and trucks may not be compatible, so this Fuel Pump is not intended to be used on those cars or trucks.
