This Gibson swept side single exhaust system delivers more low-end torque and horsepower for maximum pulling and towing power. It combines a baffled and chambered muffler with mandrel-bent, heavy-gauge tubing to improve exhaust volume and reduce sound. These 50-state legal exhausts even come with a polished stainless steel tip. Of all Gibson's exhaust systems, this is the quietest, producing a pleasantly deep throaty sound outside, while remaining peacefully still inside the cab. All Gibson exhaust systems are made with mandrel bent tubing for the least restriction possible. This not only reduces restriction, but ensures a consistent flow throughout the system. Finally, all Gibson exhaust system components are joined with a "slip fit", where an exhaust system component fits into the larger opening of the next downstream component.
