The Tigertop soft top was developed by Bestop as a solution for owners of older Jeep models who wanted to replace worn or damaged tops with something that would provide modern technological advances in materials and the convenience of Bestop's mechanical systems. The Tigertop offers a classic look for these vintage vehicles. The top attaches to the Jeep with the same kind of reinforced straps found on other Bestop soft top models. This offers a clean install and a professional, custom look. The material used for the Tigertop is also the same as all of the other Bestop offerings, sporting a high endurance automotive vinyl which resists deformation in direct sunlight and will not become brittle or dangerously stiff in low temperatures. A benefit of most Bestop soft top systems including the Tiger top is that any parts can be replaced individually, which means you don't need a whole new top whenever something small goes wrong. The daily drivability and level of engineering that come with a nice car are good reasons for remembering to use performance and aftermarket components of at least that value; those parts don't always have to cost a fortune.
