The air filter used with a cold air intake system is important, because the cold air that is pulled into the engine must pass through the air filter. AFE uses a Pro Dry S filter on this cold air intake system. The Pro Dry S filter is a low-maintenance filter that can be washed clean with soap and water, and it never needs to be oiled because this is an oil-less filter. 12/9/08 07:55 PMThe part that I ordered was broken in shipping due to not being packed properly. It took me some time to make contact with the vendor, including several phone calls and emails. On the initial contact, I arranged to ship the damaged one back, but the person I talked to did not mention anything about getting a replacement. It took another call to determine how to get a new parts shipped to me. The replacement part arrived yesterday and I installed it on my car. Now, I am waiting for instructions on where to ship the used part I removed from my car to get my core deposit credited to my account.
