Product Description

Bosch makes this throttle position sensor for use on 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996, and 1997 Volvo 850 vehicles. The throttle is opened when the accelerator is depressed. It lets air into the engine. The throttle position sensor detects how much the throttle is open. The engine control unit uses this information to adjust the amount of fuel going into the engine to optimize fuel efficiency. Replacing a faulty throttle position sensor may restore performance and fuel efficiency to the vehicle.
