Bosch makes this spark plug for use on 2001 to 2005 Mercedes C240 cars. This spark plug is only one of two required for each cylinder on the Mercedes C240. This differs from the typical one spark plug per cylinder ratio on most other vehicles. Generally spark plugs should be changed every 30,000 miles, and replacing all of the spark plugs at the same time may help to retain peak performance from the engine. This Bosch spark plug is made specifically to have the right amount of insulation for use in a Mercedes C240 engine. Installation of this spark plug on other vehicles may result in overheating or burning of the spark plug.
