The Replacement Axle Shaft is designed for Chevrolet Silverado 1500s of model years 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2004. At times, Axle Shafts can become broken and when that occurs a car or truck won't handle adequately. A car or truck's Axle Shafts are found beneath a vehicle and are mounted to the tires in the front and rear of a vehicle, allowing your tires to turn properly. The Axle Shaft transfers rotational motion from the gear box to your wheels to create forward motion. Advanced Axle Shafts add a differential onto the basic system, sometimes integrating power shaft components inside the shaft for greater torque transmission and superior gear shifting. Chevrolet Silverado 1500s from the years '99, '00, '01, '02, '03 and '04 can use this Axle Shaft. Different makes and models may not be compatible, and this element is not designed to be installed in those vehicles.
