This Exedy Clutch Kit is designed for Mazda Miatas from 1994, 1995, 1996, 1997, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004 and 2005. Clutch Kites allow the transmission to change gears by uncoupling the car or truck's transmission from the engine. In cars that use an automatic transmission, the Clutch Kit is incorporated inside your transmission system, while manual transmissions require the car owner to engage a clutch on their own, typically via a pedal close to the brake pedal. Mazda Miatas from '94, '95, '96, '97, '99, '00, '01, '02, '03, '04 and '05 will work with this component. Other vehicles may not be compatible, so this element should not be installed on those vehicles.
