Any car not equipped with a Power Steering Pump is hard to drive because it needs more rotating force when not moving than is easy for most people. The vehicle's Power Steering Pump is located at the front of the engine and is powered by a belt and pulley. Land Rover Discoverys from the years 1995, 1996, 1997 and 1998 are compatible with this replacement part. Other vehicles probably will not be compatible, and this replacement part is not to be used on those vehicles.
