Pierburg makes this fuel pump assembly for installation on 2005, 2006, 2009, 2010, and 2011 Volkswagen Jetta vehicles. Included in this assembly are the fuel gauge sender and the fuel pump. The tank seal will need to be ordered separately if that part also needs replacement. Changing this assembly may make the fuel gauge on the dash more accurate because the fuel sender is included in this part. A new fuel pump improves the engine's ability to get gas from the fuel tank. Serious problems with the fuel pump may prevent the vehicle from running at all. To ensure that this fuel pump assembly fits on the vehicle, install it on 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, and 2011 Volkswagen Jetta cars.
