Fitting all sub-models of the series, the complete 1998-2003 Mercedes ML320 Spark Plug Wire Set includes 12 stainless steel wires with connectors. The wires are wrapped around a Kevlar® reinforced aramid core so RF interference is filtered out and Direct Current can flow through the winding with a low level of resistance. Insulation of the wires is manufactured with silicon, while the cables can withstand high levels of heat under high voltage conditions and mechanical strain. The material is also resistant to corrosion in the presence of oil and fuel, so the spark plug wires can last up to 50,000 driving miles.
